Alta Consigna

Biography

Alta Consigna is a popular regional banda quintet formed in Tijuana in 2014 by Romart Holguin Chucuan and the members of the band. The group delivers everything from traditional corridos and original narcocorridos to polkas. Their popularity is due in large part to a “do-it-yourself” determination, great songs, great management as well as an appealing stage presence. They have managed to become well known throughout Mexico and in United States via their adept use of social media platforms and networks. They started out not by recording, but by making their own videos, with no resources other than their instruments, mobile phones, and sometimes, computers. The group included Crecer Germán (lead vocals and guitar), Aaron Gil (vocals), Axel Ramírez (vocals and guitar), Dani Vidal (tuba), and Alan Nieblas(requinto). They signed under H Records VIP the 21st of  July in 2015. Their earliest efforts were released as audio-only tracks on social networks, and were included on audio and video compilations followed by live videos, before becoming more sophisticated narrative affairs commensurate with their growing popularity and with help of their new label H Records VIP. In 2015, Crecer left to embark on a solo career and was replaced by electric guitarist Esteban Gonzalez. They maintained a steady stream of videos and other releases. Before leaving for a new adventure in the Us, they recorded the album “Así Nací” under the H Records VIP Label. During the first half of 2016 they released  Así Nací and Culpable Tú, on the Rancho Humilde label who had signed a contract for 6 months with them and Romart Holguin Chucuan CEO of H Records VIP. The following year brought a torrent of new releases as they launched another homemade project in the Desde la Oficina series. Recording live in the H Record VIP office, Alta Consigna released three volumes in 2017 along with another studio album, No Te Pido Mucho.
